The SEBO Dart is a compact, professional-grade upright vacuum designed for homes and light commercial spaces with mostly hard floors and rugs. It combines a high-performance power head, strong filtration, and a removable suction unit to deliver flexible, easy-to-use cleaning.
It’s the baby brother of the SEBO Felix, our best-selling upright vacuum, and shares many of its features. But there are some key differences. The Dart is basically a cut-down and cheaper version of the Felix. See the tab Felix versus Dart on this page for more details.
The Dart features:
Which means you get:
Powerful Carpet and Rug Cleaning: The Dart uses a 1300-watt motor paired with the 12-inch ET‑1 power head (on most configurations), delivering strong agitation and airflow to pull embedded dirt, dust, and hair from all flooring types.
Brush Roll On/Off for Hard Floors: With the brush roll switch on the head, the Dart transitions quickly from carpets to hard floors; turning the brush off prevents debris from scattering and protects delicate surfaces.
Four‑Level Height Adjustment: The ET‑1 power head offers four manual height settings so you can match the brush height to different carpet thicknesses for optimal cleaning and push feel.
2-in-1: The Dart’s upright’s suction body detaches to function like a handheld vacuum, ideal for stairs, upholstery, and tight spaces where the full upright is less convenient.
S‑Class Filtration and Large Bag: A sealed S‑class system and large 0.8‑gallon bag capture fine dust and allergens effectively, making the Dart suitable for pet owners and allergy-conscious households.
Toolless Brush Roll Removal: You can easily pop out the Dart’s brush roll for cleaning. No tools necessary. Our pet owners and people with long hair tell us this feature alone is worth the price of admission.
To summarize, with the Dart, you get a powerful, versatile German upright that converts into a handheld (if need be) with hospital-grade filtration, delivering a deep, thorough clean of all the floors in your home.

Whenever people are trying out the Dart and the Felix in our showroom the inevitable question is which one is better?
Well, as always, that depends on your circumstances.
Everyone is different. They have different budgets, their homes have different flooring types, some people have allergies, some people have pets, etc., etc. Below, we’ve tried to set out some of the things you might want to consider.
What’s the Same?
· The Dart and the Felix both have the same motor.
· The same ET-1 power-head.
· They both clean all floor types.
· The same S-Class hospital-grade filtration.
· They take the same-sized bag.
· Both convert into a handheld.
What Does the Felix Have the Dart Doesn’t?
· A 180-degree swivel on the ET-1 power head, which means the Felix is better at getting around furniture and into nooks and crannies.
· Adjustable suction control. You can ramp the suction up and down depending on what you are cleaning.
· Adjustable handle. You can adjust Felix’s handle to suit your height.
· More choice of colors. The Felix comes in black, red, white, and indigo.
· A bonus hard-floor tool is included with the Felix.
· The default warranty is 10 years when purchased through an authorized dealer.
Why choose Dart?
· You want SEBO-quality at a slightly lower price than a fully featured Felix.
· You don’t need Felix’s extra features.
Why choose Felix?
· You want maximum maneuverability, variable suction, and higher comfort for longer home cleaning sessions.
· You care about design and finish as part of your home décor.
· You want a more configurable machine (different heads, more nuanced controls) for varied flooring and detailed work.
· You want the 10-year warranty.
Some Last Thoughts
Once we go through the differences between the Dart and Felix, most of our in-store customers choose the Felix. Why?
The swivel on the power head is one key differentiator. The ability to control the suction is another. A third is pricing.
The price difference between a Felix and Dart is typically under $200 and you get a lot more bang for your buck. Given that SEBOs generally last 15-20 years, most people do the math and figure that the Felix is a better investment.
And as an owner of a Felix myself, I agree with them!
