The Scout Plus is the enhanced version of the Scout canister. Instead of the combo floor tool, the Scout Plus has a turbo power nozzle with a durable metal brush roll and headlight. The handle on the hose has wireless control of the power level - it syncs to the digital panel. 

So the Scout Plus will clean all floor types from wall-to-wall carpet to hard floors.  Allowing you to adjust the power and suction as you go to get an optimal clean for your home.
